Ok, admit it. We’ve all done it. You, like me, have mixed Tabasco Sauce with ketchup to put in your French fries. Tastes great, adds a little zip to your lunchtime, and if mixed right, gets your young kids to start to like hot sauce ……. At least, that’s kind of how I did it ……
Well, Bufalo makes a range of hot sauces, and I bought several of them to try. I started with this Jalapeno sauce, since it was the nearest to me. With the consistency of a good ketchup, smooth and not too thick, it tastes exactly like a 50/50 mix of ketchup and Tabasco, with just a splash of vinegar tossed in. A perfect sauce for people that are ‘too busy’ to mix their own, you, and your kids, will love this sauce on your burgers and fries.
Ingredients
Water, Acetic Acid, Jalapeno Peppers, Carrots, Sugar, Iodized Salt, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Benzoate (0.1%) (as a Preservative), Condiments, FD&C Red 40 and Dehydrated Garlic.
