This is a cheap and easy way to make a healthy snack and get your spicy food fix. No cutting boards, no dicing and slicing, no wearing gloves to cut hot peppers, this recipe is extremely simple and fast.
Ingredients:
1 (15 oz.) can of Chick Peas
2 small cloves of garlic
2 tbsp of lemon juice
3 tbsp of olive oil
1/4 tsp of cumin
1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of onion powder
*2 – 4 tsp of hot sauce
Prepare
Mix all of the ingredients in a food processor until a blended, slightly creamy texture has been achieved. Pour the mixture into a sealable bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Time To Eat
Serve cold, with pita chips, crackers, or pretzels. Enjoy!
*Tip: If this is your first time making Spicy Homemade Hummus, I reccommend you add the hot sauce last. Stir in 1 teaspoon of hot sauce at a time, taste testing after each teaspoon, until satisfied.
