A good middle-of-the-road hot sauce, not too hot, not too tame with a nice smoky flavor.

One of the fun websites to browse is www.MoHotta.com. In some of my prior reviews, you have seen Frostbite Hot Sauce, and Habanero Hot Salt. I get those from MoHotta when I need them.

I recently received some Red Savina Habanero Hot Sauce. On the bottle, it proudly says it has a Scoville rating of 5,470 (a Habanero pepper rates about 555,000 per Wikipedia), so it is not very hot.

I liked the smoky flavor, which is a bit more enjoyable, to me, than the ‘standard’ in-your-face heat of many Habanero sauces, and the vinegar note was not as strong as others I have tried. It’s appearance I rated at a 6, as it was not as smooth, and has some pepper flakes floating in it.

A good middle-of-the-road hot sauce, not too hot, not too tame with a nice smoky flavor. A good one to try while you are doing some online shopping.
