Try me it says. Or should I say TryMe® (for legal trademark purposes). That little bit of black text on a yellow band above the label, standing out from the rest of the sauce on the shelf.
Ok awesome looking Tiger Sauce, I think I just might do that.
I picked this sauce up today on my grocery run gathering ingredients for shrimp and avocado tacos. I figured “hey, I’m here for taco stuff, might as well get a new sauce,” which is pretty much the norm no matter what I’m cooking.
Before I can pack the groceries into the fridge, the sauce is already open, filling a tablespoon (I’ve got my priorities straight, I know). The dark red sauce fills the spoon fast, speckled with cayenne pepper seeds and bits of garlic, a tart sweet smell radiates from the sauce.
I take a sip and am overcome by the tart, sweetness that they advertise on the bottle. With a little bite and a lot of flavor, this is a great addition to any spice rack, pantry, or fridge.
Smell
Once you open the bottle you are welcomed with a pretty heavy vinegar scent. There is a slight spiciness to the smell, but you can pretty much determine from your nostrils alone that this sauce is not going to melt your face.
Taste
A sweeter sauce, you are hit with a very vinegary taste before the heat kicks in. With almost a fruity flavor, this will be a great sauce mixed with meats that are already coated in a spicy seasoning.
Heat
Tiger Sauce is not heavy on the heat factor. The Cayenne Peppers don’t weigh to heavy on the taste buds. In fact, you can probably just drink the stuff straight from the bottle (though we don’t recommend it).

Final Thoughts
Overall I love this sauce. It’s great on everything so far and it’s hard to get tired of. Yeah, I got the bottle today, but it’s already half gone. Granted, they could be a little lighter on the vinegar, but overall it’s a great sauce at a great price and goes great on just about everything. So overall it’s just great, not the best, but great!
